When selecting bedding I thing it is important to mix and match.
I remember watching a Sarah Richardson show and she said something about trying to mix around 6-7 different patterns into one space to keep things fresh and interesting. That really stuck with me...
I think it is important to mix and match your linens so you don't have a "bedding bag" look.
I made the large Euro Pillows in the back.
I purchased these Pottery Barn Blue standard pillow shams for my very first "grown up" apartment about 8 years ago. I STILL love that color (and they are still in good shape).
I have gone through SEVERAL white duvet covers since then. Living with three dogs, no matter how much you wash and bleach, you need to get new linens from time to time.
But white is a wonderful staple.
I found the little square PB linen pillow on sale many years ago. I think it was supposed to be for a living room, but I have always liked how it looked against the blue shams so it stays in the bedroom.
This PB quilt... love it... the color combinations are divine.
The quilt was a wedding gift from one of my husbands close family friends. I love the idea of having a "wedding quilt" that we will keep forever.
The blue ticking duvet cover can still be purchased at PB and is currently on sale!
Let's see, my bedding includes 6 different fabric combinations. I think Sarah would be pleased!
Pottery Barn is currently having their Winter White Sale, go mix it up!

now, that quilt i do have. whenever i see a PB quilt that i really like when it goes on sale i buy it. i have a great collection of them. the stella...not yet but soon. thank you ebay.
